To meet the varied and complex needs of CRI clients, highly
qualified specialists--physical, occupational, and speech
therapists, registered nurses, behavioral psychologists, physicians,
social workers, and direct service staff -- help the men and women
in CRI programs attain more freedom, greater control. |

In cooperation with the Connecticut Department of Mental Retardation
and the Department of Children and Families, CRI operates community
training homes for children and adults, offering support, affection,
and stability through an interdisciplinary team approach, including
training, therapy, and behavior management. |
Here at CRI people with disabilities can
discover new lives of possibility. A non-profit agency
established in 1984 to serve Connecticut, CRI provides day programs
and residential services for individuals of all ages with special
needs, helping them meet new challenges and reach their potential
for self-sufficiency. |
Through a network of community and professional resources, CRI helps
people overcome physical and cognitive handicaps, gain work or
volunteer experience, live more independently.
