REQUIREMENTS
Backgrounds:
We will perform two background checks on all applicants: Criminal
record check and a motor vehicle record check. You must have a valid
CT driver's license and a good driving record.
Physical:
If we offer and you accept a DIRECT CARE position, you must provide
evidence that a physical and PPD has been completed within the last
year. If you have not had a Physical and PPD within that time, you
must obtain one either through your own physician or with our occupational
physician. CRI DOES NOT PAY FOR THE PHYSICAL.
TRAINING PREREQUISITES
First Aid, CPR, and Medication Certification are requirements of a
Residential Direct Care position. All Residential direct care
workers must obtain CPR and First Aid within 90 days of hire.
Medication Administration Certification must be obtained within 120 days
of hire for all full and part-time employees. These certifications
must be held during employment and renewed independently when
required. All employees must be able to attend all required training
and in-servicing.
