When will I be eligible to enroll in benefits?
For medical and dental benefits, you must be full-time (have a permanent 32+ hours per week work schedule); you will be eligible to enroll the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
For voluntary benefits, which include life insurance, short term disability and cancer insurance, enrollment takes place annually on February 1st.
For the 401(k) plan, you must be 18 years of age and have 6 months of service. Enrollment takes place on January 1st and July 1st.
Are there any benefits that are 100% paid for by Community Residences, Inc.?
Yes. The company provides long term disability, basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. You will be eligible for these benefits the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
What is Paid Time Off (PTO) and when can I begin using it?
Paid Time Off is an accumulation of sick, vacation and personal time. Full and part-time employees scheduled for 20 to 40 hours each week may begin using this time 120 days after date of hire.
What are the company’s paid holidays each year?
New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Do you offer Direct Deposit?
Yes, for the convenience of our employees, direct deposit of your paycheck is available.
Do you have tuition reimbursement?
Those CRI employees, who have completed probation, i.e. have successfully worked for the agency for 6 months or more, and work a minimum of 20 hrs per week may be eligible for college tuition reimbursement. Tuition reimbursement will be for the course work that will directly benefit clients served by the agency. The amount of tuition reimbursement made available to CRI staff will depend on the agency budget for this fund, and the number of employees applying for the reimbursement.
