Careers
Community Residences, Inc. (CRI) is a not-for-profit corporation developed to serve people with special needs in the State of Connecticut. It is the principal goal of CRI to provide quality services to people in the least restrictive manner possible.
CRI is dedicated to:
• Provide diversified and quality support services to people of all ages with special needs
• Creating an atmosphere where opportunities exist for individuals to make choices, increase independence,
and maximize personal potential.
• Hiring and nurturing a knowledgeable, caring and supported staff
• Providing a work environment where employees are challenged, respected, and competitively compensated
To accomplish this goal, CRI works with state of Connecticut human services agencies to develop and operate high quality day, residential and community support services as well as foster care, permanency, adoption and mentor services.
A key to reaching this goal is to hire, train and support a highly qualified, experienced and motivated team of professionals. CRI has a detailed training program that will have newly hired employees certified in CPR, First Aid, PMT, OSHA, med certification, as well as other State required trainings. Our training department also provides on-going training to ensure training compliance as well as professional growth.
We have on-going recruitment for direct care positions in most of these locations, including fulltime, part-time, and/or per diem work.
